Business startup: The project aims to start an Atlantic seal processing business in the Magdalen Islands.
SiliCycle has carried out work for the Firm to develop a process to extract a high quality oil from seal blubber. As a result of this work, the Firm built a plant to implement a large-scale industrial seal oil extraction process.
Establish the functions essential to the proper functioning of the firm, allowing sales of products and services and also its sustainability.
The Molecular Distiller is a set of 28 pieces of equipment in order to allow extraordinary distillation conditions. Synchronizing all this equipment and achieving the desired conditions is a considerable challenge. Even the plant will have to be modified to accommodate this 22 foot high system.
