Eureka Spain - E!18066 - HTSE2Fuels Partner - Solatom CSP As part of the international consortium project “Concentrated Solar Thermal Powered Steam-Driven Electrolyser For Fuel Production - HTSE2Fuels”, Tyne will focus on developing a High Temperature Steam Electrolyzer and associated Test Station which can work in conjunction with Solatom's solar generating capabilities.
The HPTCA-T process involves directing mixed isotopes to a column packed with catalyst and operating at low temperatures causing the isotopes to react and separate out in a controlled manner. Then in a following process the isotopes can be separately collected and stored. The separation process is a batch mode process. The system involves a complex computer program to manipulate the process to best advantage.
Design and build a small-sized Isotopic Separation System for use with accelerators in the medical and other related sectors
Supply of Nuclear Instrumentation including design, qualification testing, fabrication and delivery.
