Supersonic and hypersonic aerospace development. The project will result in Supersonic Test Platform to test the main systems that are comprised in a Supersonic UAV. The project includes advanced manufacturing of supersonic and hypersonic UAVs, including critical sub-systems.
Phase 2 - Advancing Supersonic UAV Capability, contributing to development of the Falcon supersonic UAV. This includes advancing UVAD’s technology stack using the Alpine Swift test bed. These vehicles aim to fill a critical capability gap in supersonic UAV applications in civilian and defence markets, including high-speed incident response, military training, and threat replication.
The project is a effort to develop A.S. prototypes for Falcon technology verification. Specialized composite fabrication and prototyping support will be provided by an Ontario-based engineering and manufacturing firm with expertise in advanced composite structures for aerospace and defence applications.
