This 39-month project will address the capacity needs of 2SLGBTQ1+ organizations and youth-serving organizations in supporting young LBTQ+ women who are facing gender-based violence. Specifically, the project will develop and provide training to service providers on bystander intervention and, on gender-based violence and LBTQ+ youth. The intended improvements in practice will be supported through the convening of four service provider regional networks across the country and a national mobilization event at the end of the project. Through the application of national and local priorities, the CSJ program seeks to provide youth, particularly those who face barriers to employment with access to work opportunities. Funded employers must demonstrate that they are providing quality work experiences for youth that provide opportunities to develop and improve their skills.
